I have been dying to redo my bedroom for a while now (Mother, I hope you are reading this).  I have grown and changed a lot since I purchased my current bedroom furniture, including moving into a new home.  My space is very different now than it was 3 years ago and I want the room that I spend so much time in to reflect me as a human.  I also want to select pieces that are more traditional and versatile.  The furniture that I have chosen in the past tends to lean on the more style-istic side of things resulting in pieces that can’t change and be restyled according to my current needs and wants.  In my new room I really want to keep things simple, a little traditional, and a lot of just plain-jane styles that will withstand the test of time.

For a bed, I love this one!  I love that it can be cleaned but also, the slipcover can be replaced as it becomes more worn.  With a pupper, I think this bed would make for an easy clean.  I love this as a duvet and this as a quilt.  I would like to keep things simple and white, similar to what I have now but with a little flare.  I am in love with these pillows I found on Etsy.  They are absolutely gorgeous and I think would tie in both darker and lighter tones in the bedding and the furniture.

I think that these nightstands would fit the room well.  They are traditional and have a very pretty antique look.  I feel like these will age really well as my tastes change and evolve.  I would put these lamps on each of the nightstands.  I am very keen on the brass stand.  I think they look just vintage enough while not being too heavy.

Eventually, I will get around to redesigning my bedroom and I can’t wait to incorporate some of these pieces into it!
