Little Factoids

Since we are all new here, I thought now would be a perfect time to share some fun and interesting facts about me.  These types of posts are always some of my favorites on other blogs!  I feel like it is a little glimpse into who the person really is.  I am excited to share a little more about me and what makes me tick!

1. I have 2 tastes when it comes to food.. Either fancy or like a child.  For example, osso bucco is one of my favorite italian dishes but I am also just as happy eating mac and cheese with chicken nuggets.  
2. I have never broken a bone and I am quite proud of that fact. 
3. If I could only have one color for the rest of my life, it would be white.  I love white.  It is so clean and bright and I feel like you can really change the essence of the color with different scent experiences (i.e. candles, perfumes, etc).  
4. I have struggled with depression and anxiety since childhood.  But, I am figuring it out and taking it one day at a time!
5. I love art!  And I have had the privilege of seeing iconic pieces such as the Mona Lisa (slightly disappointing), the Statue of David (gorgeous), and the Sistine Chapel (breathtaking).  
6. I love to travel but getting there is always really challenging for me.  
7. Ella has been my baby since the day I brought her home 5 years ago.  She is far too spoiled but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  
8. I started college as a musical theatre major.  I thought I wanted to perform as a career but I realized that the lifestyle wasn’t for me.  I love nice things and I don’t think living in a NYC apartment would have been for me. 
9. I started needlepointing about a year ago and it is one of my favorite pastimes now.  I have a fairly busy brain so it’s a nice way for me to turn off while still channeling my focus into something. 
10. I have been wanting to write a blog for the last 4 years or so.  I am proud of myself for actually taking the step forward and starting one!
