As I have grown up and matured over the last 5 or so years, I have really grown to love art.  I like old, fancy art, like Water Lilies and Blue Boy, but in my home, I want to fill the space with happy pieces that are light in color and a little old fashioned.  I have also come to discover that not all art is a painting or picture that is hung on the wall.  Art can really be anything in which you find artistic beauty!  So, today I wanted to share some artistic beauty with you!

Sara Fitz

I have 2 of her prints hanging in my office and I love them!  I think her pieces are so sweet, clean, and charming.  Since they are watercolors, the colors are soft and light which I really like.  It also makes it really easy to move these from one room to another since the colors are more muted.  I also have my eyes on these sheets that she just released… I am in love!

Chinoiserie Jars

I love a good ginger jar.  I think they fill space so beautifully and always have the most gorgeous, intricate patterns and scenes painted on them.  I think this one from William Sonoma is beautiful.

Maryfrances Carter

Oh my goodness… her pottery is absolutely beautiful.  The detail is really unparalleled.  I don’t own any of her pieces yet but I did purchase her sip subscription. Maryfrances creates 4 beautiful and unique mugs throughout the year and they arrive on your doorstep!  Maryfrances designs, throws, and paints all of her pieces in her home studio.  Truly, the pieces that she creates seem to be a sign of affection like none other.

LeftBank Art

Finally, if you are looking for larger, more commercial pieces of art, LeftBank is a wonderful place to look.  We have many of their curated pieces in our home and love them.  This is my favorite piece that we have and I still swoon everytime I see it, 4 years later.

Art is such a beautiful way to express yourself in your home. It also can help to create a space that you really love. Art makes the world a more beautiful and rich place!
