As summer continues to pass, I am getting a bigger and bigger desire to travel. As I have gotten older, I have gotten more interested in traveling to places I haven’t been before. Granted, I am an anxiety bug so the actual follow through is challenging, but it is fun to imagine exploring different places. I am fortunate enough to be traveling a little this summer but I am also spending my days dreaming of new destinations.
Disney Wish
I am so excited to be sailing with my mom and sister on the inaugural Wish voyage, Disney Cruise Lines newest ship. The christening of the ship is today actually, and I am getting more and more excited to be experiencing something new, beautiful and elegantly Disney. We have been big Disney Cruise fans for a long while now, I cruised my first time on Disney when I was 11. We have found that the ships are some of the best ways to travel the world. It gives the opportunity to see as much or as little of the destinations as the traveler wants and at the end of the day, you get to sleep in the same bed, which I am very keen on!
Disney Starcruiser
I am soooooo excited for the new Disney World, fully immersive hotel, the Starcruiser. It is all Star Wars theme and the guests onboard complete different missions. I am a big Disney World girl and I am so excited to be trying something new and different. Not only is it different for Disney property, it is also the first hotel of its kind. Sleeping in a pod, roaming the halls with Star Wars rebels and dining with the captain of the ship, it should be quite the adventure!
England and Paris
My mom and I will be traveling to Europe in the fall and I could not be more excited for the adventure! I haven’t been to Europe since the summer before Covid and, after many cancelled attempts of getting there, I am so excited to actually be going! We will be traveling and touring with Adventures by Disney for our first time and I am cautiously optimistic. We haven’t ever done anything like this trip before but I am looking forward to it. We actually get to do archery at Buckingham Palace which is pretty cool.. and not gonna lie, I am really looking forward to shopping (and getting my return from the VAT tax)!
Dreaming of… Nantucket
I am DYING to travel to Nantucket (Mom if you are reading this, take note)! The pictures I see of the island just make it look like the most beautiful and cheerful place in the world. From the flourishing hydrangeas to the ice cream coated in rainbow sprinkles, how could it not be the happiest place! The one downside is that it is really difficult to get to from the middle of the country… Flights are few and far between but I also have to wonder if that makes it a bit more special, you have to really work to get yourself there so the arrival could be that much sweeter.
